EcoLocal is a charity based in South London. We run FARMA acreddited Farmers’ Markets in the London borough of Sutton in partnership with Sutton Council, under the North East Surrey Farmers’ Market banner. Our aim is to provide fresh local produce direct from the producer in the heart of Sutton’s communities.
To attend one of our markets, stallholders must comply with the rules below.
Locally produced – Produce must be from within a 40 mile radius of the market site (or 100 miles for hard to source produce).
Own produce – All produce sold must be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stall holder. Producers may sell only their own produce; no bought-in produce is allowed.
Principal Producer – The stall must be attended by the principle producer or a representative involved in the production process.
EcoLocal’s projects and services are designed to engage, and be accessible to, local communities.
Registered charity number is 1087782, registered company (England and wales) number 4137305. EcoLocal is the working name of the Centre for Environmental Initiatives
